Three Scottish companies have participated in a ground-breaking project with three leading multinationals to learn more about product and channel marketing techniques in the technology sector.
The three – Nallatech, Seebyte and Company-Net – were paired with US giants Sun Microsystems, Freescale and Microsoft.
Managers joined the US companies for learning projects to give them ideas to improve their own channel and product management back in Scotland.
The project was created and managed by Scottish-based consultants 2in10 as part of the Innovation Actions programme and has been declared a success by all involved.
The idea behind the project is to help Scottish companies to innovate in sales and marketing, an area traditionally seen as a weakness for Scotland, despite its recognised track record in research and development.
