A BBC business report has said that Scottish firms use Dolly the sheep as a recognisable example of Scottish scientific excellence when doing business.
A US banker at a conference in Edinburgh said that Dolly had done wonders for Scotland's image as a scientific centre.
But finance director at Axis Shield has said that there is no use in having fantastic science if it is not generating revenue.
