Scottish business should consider ethical products
The Co-operative Bank has released a report saying that household expenditure on ethical goods and services has nearly doubled since 2002.
Simon Williams, Director of the Co-operative Bank thinks that market share could reach 10% by 2009.
Main areas of market growth were ethical clothing which saw a rise in sales of 70%, Fairtrade goods rose by 46% and, of particular interest to the Scottish finance sector, ethical investments saw an 18% increase in sales.
